Holding Down the Shred in Dry Days
Hey it’s Greg Frayo, California has been a little dry lately with only a couple storms to keeps the resorts cruzin through the holidays and into the later part of winter.
Mammoth, where I live has a great park and some fun spots to shred in town and off the mountain. I took out my Powerlyte 154cm and Screaming Hand 152cm to show everyone a little love. Hope you enjoy, the season is still in gear.

This ledge was pretty fun Chris Moran shot this one, he’s “One of the Homies.” A security guy came through to shut us down. I told him, “Look it, 30 minutes is all we need.” Pigface left and I got to put this one down.

I was driving along and just peeped this from the road on the side of a hill. I doubled back in the truck and saw a line to access it with snowshoes. After a 20 minute hike, set up this fallen down tree with my friends Trent and Max. Pretty stoked with this one.
Keep up the shred, Frayo out.

LOW TIDE! Even though this season’s snowfall in the Sierras has been seriously lacking, Rookie rider Marissa has been taking advantage of any sign of fresh snow to lay down some lines on some back country drops, snatching up fresh tracks and taking laps through the park when everything is tracked out. Marissa’s favorite shred sticks? The 2011-2012 Tetra and new 2012-2013Hex Flower.

It's a progression session season - Marissa took 1st place in BoarderX on the Tetra for round 1. This past weekend Marissa was back at it to compete in Round 2 of CCSSS. She took 1st place in heats 1 and 2 BoarderX with a 2nd place finishing the final (Leading points now for the season).

Marissa is on fire lately and grabbed the 1st Wild Card for the Pro Snowboarder Andy Finch Invitational Slope Style Park event coming up (Female division).

Marissa topped off the weekend with a custom birthday cake compliments of China Peak. Marissa turned 15 on Valentine's Day. Happy Birthday!

The first episode from last years Helsinki trip is out!
The south French snowboard crew, Picture-your-art-too or PY-AT, has now released an episode from the Helsinki trip that I Joined last spring. This is the first of 5 episodes that is going to be released on zapiks.com. In this episode we can first see the long roadtrip from Toulouse, followed by our first session on a long down-flat-down.
I'm the rider with the red jacket and blue pants, rocking the Morph Pro 155. This is a sick board with good pop that rides everything from kickers to streetrails. It flexes really nice on presses too as you can see :)
