We all know that Santa Cruz has been in the industry for quite some time now, designing only the best of everything, from surfboards to skateboards, and even Cruzer boards to mountain bikes. All in all, SC has definitely perfected the snow game. Throwin' out only the sickest boards for their team and riders of any skill level! But there's one right now that I have my focus on. A board that's just perfect for that rider searching for the ultimate SHRALSH! A board that I have to say is one of my favorites so far. This shred weapon is the MORPH PRO!
Hey World, I am Andrew Steward (aka Droid) out of Vail, Colorado and I have been riding SC for 5 seasons to be exact. Back when Seth Huot and Jon Kooley had their pro models destroying the mountain and the industry with only positive feedback. You wouldn't catch me on another board. Not because I was given boards, but the fact that I truly loved the performance of them. After this past week on the Keystone rails and jumps, I have to say, the MORPH PRO beats em all!

Every rider has his/ her own opinions and riding style, but the MORPH will exceed all your expectations. No matter if you're a park rat (which I find myself to be one as well) a pipe junkie, or a big mountain rider, this board will SLAY all terrain. I know it's under the freestyle category, but I have had just as much fun in the back country on this board, as I have had in the park/ pipe.
The first day I had the opportunity to ride the MORPH, I was jumping the big line at Keystone with my good friend/ photographer Chad Schmidt. Usually I am the one to take it pretty mellow at 8 in the morning, but right when I felt the amazingness, all I wanted to do was DESTROY anything and everything. I am an all around rider, but that day I was focusing on my jumping. From the first take off, I automatically felt the direct snap and pop off my edge. I'm throwin' a frontside cork 9 off my heels, so already I'm asking for a lot of pop. The MORPH delivered exactly what I needed. From the beginning of the transition, to the end of the lip, I felt nothing but pure control and smooth sails from the "snap rocker" which allowed me to stomp as if I never left the ground. Hence the word "snap" right before "rocker" which gives you stronger mobility and edge control while approaching features. You don't feel like you're going to slip out as if you would on other boards with reverse camber. The Morph has the "rocker look" but it's not as soft as your everyday rail board, where you can press on the nose of your board and touch the back of your head with the tail. Don't get me wrong, you can definitely butter the shit out of it on a box or rail if you really wanted to. All I'm saying is we're not dealing with a noodle here. We're talkin' about a responsive machine that's going to upgrade your skill level, no matter where you take it. At least that's what it did for me.

This is Santa Cruz's 2nd year of having the reverse camber with their boards. As a rider, I have to say their design team did one hell of a job. And it's not just sweaty ass men in the back drinking cold beer, whipping these sticks out in a whim, but actual riders like myself and the rest of the snow team giving positive/ negative feedback to the main dudes, so they can go back and build us a perfect ride. SC has been nothing but perfection in the past years, so let's all enjoy the precision and clock work put into these beasts.

Get your ass off the couch and go morph your steez into absolute frenzy with the MORPH PRO. I guarantee you nothing but positiveness and pure satisfaction riding this thing. You'll feel like a 7 yr. old girl on Christmas morning... or whatever... You get the idea!
Droid out!!!
