ROCKER SHAPES

Santa Cruz has nearly 40 years of experience in the surfing and skateboarding industry. We’ve invented and introduced numerous innovative concaves and rocker shapes over the past 4 decades. Not many know this, but the first Santa Cruz snowboard designs featured rocker technology but the world just wasn’t ready yet to accept or realize the benefits of Rocker shapes on snowboards. With the 2011-2012 collection, Santa Cruz continues to push the limits by further fine tuning of the existing shapes and introducing innovations in design like our new Bevel Skate Concave design which takes the shape of snowboards to the 3rd Dimension! So why choose rocker when camber has been a tried and true construction trusted by pros for decades? Well, first of all, rockers are more forgiving
than cambers and therefore make it simple to initiate turns, spins and rotations that will take allow you to progress faster. Forget about getting jacked up just because you are a little bit off – Rocker shapes work with you, not against you. Ride a rocker and see for yourself!

SNAP ROCKER

The Snap! Rocker is a mellow rocker shape, which is like a combination of camber and rocker. Ideal to rock the park, float pow turns, lay down some edge or huck yourself off monster kickers. Santa Cruz will never turn its back on the tried and true camber shape! A true trooper for decades and still favored by many veterans and pro-riders for its ability to go extremely big with hella speed and maintain stability and grace under pressure. Camber requires confidence, experienced technique and precision – no wonder so many pro’s demand this shape!
