ComPly Sidewall Construction

ComPly Sidewall Construction is a unique sidewall made with three layers of 1mm shock-absorbing rubber strips, and four layers of 2mm ABS plates, sandwiched together above the edge. ComPly acts like a shock absorber, dampening your ride by absorbing vibration, whether you are cranking turns or sliding a rail.

ComPly can take twice as many hits as regular sidewalls, while increasing edge grip and stability on icy slopes or climbing the wall of the pipe. ComPly gives both jibbers and freeriders a performance advantage that other constructions can’t, offering greater durability, and providing a superior ride.

Wood Cores

Every core in the Santa Cruz Collection is made of well-matured, tension free, local poplar wood. Santa Cruz cores are laminated vertically and CNC beltground, not milled or planed like other cores. CNC beltgrinding SC cores offers distinct advantages: it creates a rougher surface that offers about 60% more lamination area, and guarantees significantly better adhesion. And SC wood cores extend from tip to tail, ensuring a consistent flex over the entire length of the board.
